Enterprise Bargaining is about to get underway at Transgrid, with negotiations set to commence on 8 September.
In the lead-up to bargaining, USU organisers will be visiting sites and distributing member surveys to hear directly from workers about the issues that matter most. Whether it’s pay, conditions, allowances, flexibility, career progression, or workplace protections, this is your opportunity to help shape the future agreement.
The feedback gathered from these surveys will be used to develop the Union’s Log of Claims—the document that forms the foundation of negotiations with Transgrid. The stronger and more representative our Log of Claims is, the stronger our bargaining position will be at the negotiating table.
If you’re not already a member, now is the perfect time to join. Enterprise Agreements are won through the collective strength of workers standing together. Becoming a member ensures your voice is heard and gives you a direct say in the claims the Union pursues on behalf of members.
