On Saturday 4th July Premier Chris Minns announced that due to the overwhelming success of the fresh start program where 1300 apprentices, trainees, cadets & early education childcare trainees have been enlisted across all councils in NSW, the Minns Labor Government have heard the calls for more from your union we will now see a further 400 employed next year, 2027.
 
This follows strong lobbying from your General Secretary Graeme Kelly OAM and President Sharon Sewell.
 
This further investment by the Minns Government will transform more lives, giving opportunities for life long skills that ordinarily would not be available.
