That’s why the USU New Gen Awards recognise both the apprentices and trainees building their future careers, and the mentors helping guide the next generation.

Apprentice/Trainee of the Year
The USU New Gen Apprentice/Trainee of the Year Award recognises a USU member currently undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship who demonstrates enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to their chosen career.
The winner will receive a $2,500 prize thanks to Vision Super and will be recognised at this year’s USU Conference.

Mentor of the Year
The USU New Gen Mentor of the Year Award recognises members who go above and beyond to support others, create positive workplaces and provide guidance to younger workers.
The winner will receive a $500 prize thanks to Vision Super and will also be recognised at this year’s USU Conference.
