USU members across City of Parramatta Council have recently held mass meetings and report-back meetings about important issues affecting members.
Members passed a number of significant motions. These include some relating to ongoing vacancies in operational and salaried roles, recruitment practices and timeframes, and seeking information to be provided to staff across the Council on the current organisational structures, plant replacement and outstanding action items by Council.
The Union’s efforts to improve communications and transparency at Parramatta continue, and members can be proud of their unity on these issues.
