The new Local Government (State) Award introduced improved leave entitlements, including:
- MyLeave and Parental Leave.
The USU wrote to Council in early August to start this process and will keep members updated as it moves forward.
While negotiations for a Blacktown Enterprise Agreement are underway, these leave changes are being dealt with separately.
The current Blacktown EA has a Leave Reserve provision that allows leave entitlements to be adjusted to reflect changes in the Local Government Award.
