The first quarter of 2026 has already been a busy period with the implementation of Endeavour Energy’s arbitrated Workplace Determination and Ausgrid testing the market for buyers of the metering arm of Plus ES. Other work undertaken by Organisers has been in relation to the transition away from coal fired power generation.
As always, keeping members informed and supported remains a top priority. Throughout 2026, the Energy Branch will continue its statewide office and depot visits, which will run on a fortnightly basis. These visits are an important opportunity for members to raise issues, ask questions, and stay connected with their organiser’s and delegates.
