Cubic Transportation Industries employees are set to benefit from a newly negotiated Enterprise Agreement that delivers meaningful wage growth and long‑overdue improvements to workplace conditions.

The agreement, now finalised, provides a 4% wage increase each year for the next three years, offering members greater financial certainty at a time when cost‑of‑living pressures remain high. In a further win, Cubic has committed to backpay from 1 August 2025, ensuring workers are recognised for the period already worked under previous rates.

It was the USU’s success in persuading Cubic to accept major improvements in conditions, which when rejected by a majority of outdoor employees, left Cubic with no other option than to offer much higher wage increases than they had originally offered in negotiations.
