Training Report – 2025
Training for 2025 has concluded and I am proud to announce the final numbers
- 109 delegates attended Delegate Basics
- 25 delegates advanced their skills with USU@Work
- 21 delegates spend a day becoming familiar with Organiser Basics, and
- 12 delegates upskilled with Negotiation Basics ready for EA negotiations at their workplace
- Congratulations to all those delegates who have developed new skills, refreshed old ones or shared their experiences with others on their delegate journey.
2026 Training Calendar released
The full years calendar has been released with 17 Delegate Basics sessions planned across 7 locations and 5 USU@Work sessions planned across 3 locations.
Delegate Basics and USU@Work sessions will soon be able to take advantage of our new online registration which can be found on the training page https://usu.org.au/training/
The USU Events calendar has been updated and don’t forget to subscribe to get the latest information about upcoming training dates.
I will be bringing back an old favourite – Lunch & Learn with 13 sessions planned for 2026 – these will be held between 12-12.30 on various Tuesday’s through out the year. Topics will vary each month so please check the calendar and don’t forget to enrol when registrations become available.
Finally – a new session to the family will be trialled – New Member Inductions. These sessions will showcase some of the amazing benefits of being a USU member and highlight the structure of the USU.
