On Friday 5th December, Central Coast Council USU members celebrated their annual picnic day at Wyong Swimming Pool.

It is great to see that over the years members continue to regularly attend. Now members are attending with their families and even grandkids are now coming to this ever-growing member event.

The pool was crowded all day as it was excessively hot this year, so several gazeboes were utilised to provide some shade.  Even the annual afternoon thunderstorm felt it was too hot for an appearance and stayed away.

Entry show bags were provided for members and Santa Clause continues to be huge favourite amongst everyone.

The USU would like to thank the delegates for their tireless effort to make this day possible in particular Larry Freeman, Erwin VanEerden , Katie Wallace and Neola Stewart.  We would also like to thank Kelly Murphy, Heidi Barnett and Rod Grieve – without this group the day wouldn’t be possible.
