Thank you to all members and staff who supported our recent raffle for the family of our late colleague, Lester, a much-loved union organiser whose kindness and calm spirit touched workplaces across Sydney. The raffle raised $10,811.22, and winners were drawn in September.
One of those winners, Stanley Chichy, received the signed and framed Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs jersey. In an incredible act of generosity, Stanley asked that the prize be redonated so it could be raffled again to raise further funds for Lester’s family.
Thanks to Stanley’s contribution, a second raffle is now live, with every dollar going directly to Lester’s loved ones.
Thank you again to everyone who has shown such strong solidarity during this difficult time. Together, we continue to stand by Lester’s family.
