In October we said goodbye to Lachlan McGregor, one of our Slater and Gordon delegates in the Canberra Office. Lachlan has decided to move up to Queensland for new opportunities.
Over his time as a delegate Lachlan has done tremendous working advancing the interests of USU members at Slater and Gordon. He served as a bargaining representative during the latest round of EA negotiations where he provided valuable insights and input to the National ASU bargaining team. During EA bargaining Lachlan was always dedicated to keeping Canberra members updated and listen to.
His work at the Canberra office has been diverse and dynamic. From informing members and non-members about the work of the USU, to ensuring that staff are looked after and given a voice. Lachlan has worked hard to grow the USU’s representation in the Canberra office. His passion and dedication to the cause was always inspiring. The USU would like to thank Lachlan for his work and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
Lachlan has also ensured that the Canberra office is not without USU representation. Stay tuned next month as we introduce the new delegate, Amy Biggs.
