The USU is proud to be part of an event which aims to raise much needed funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Today USU General Secretary received thanks from Brett Richardson Manager, Public Safety, Shire Services: Ocean Safety + Lifeguard Headquarters for the support the USU gave when Sutherland Shire Council took on Randwick City Council and Waverley Council (Bondi) rivals in a 30km ‘Lifeguard Challenge’ on Sunday 17 March. Brett said:

“Just a quick note to thank you for your support – we have raised over $13,000 to go towards purchasing an ambulatory EEG monitor for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

Our goal is to reach at least $15k, so we have left our fundraising page open a little longer. With the addition of your generous gift we managed to raise nearly $6000 of the total funds and we really appreciate everyone who got behind us! Congratulations to the winners of the Raffle – everyone who was lucky enough to snap up a prize has been notified.

Check out some shots from the day and again thank you for your support of the Sydney Children’s Hospital.”
