Thank you to all staff across Australia who filled in the USU/ASU Maurice Blackburn (MB) EASurvey. We had a great response to the Survey which we transformed into the USU/ASU Log of Claims which has been endorsed at members’ meetings. Now we are ready to bargain.
Re-structure and voluntary redundancy @ Ausgrid
Your union recently concluded consultation/negotiations with regards to what the anticipated re-structure initiatives will look like; we have fielded a few enquiries since the business’ bulletin to all staff and wish to clarify a few points.

Back in early February 2019, Qantas told staff and the world that they had failed to pay a significant number of current and former staff in accordance with the USU/ ASU’s Enterprise Agreements probably since 2013.

Central Coast Council three year merger anniversary: USU Members still protected!
USU members would be aware it is now only a few weeks away from the three year anniversary of the Central Coast Council proclamation, resolved 12th May 2016. USU members have rightfully raised concerns over this date and any future outcomes.
