On Friday 13 July, the Union met with Tabcorp representatives in regards to the proposed use of the Fair Work Commission’s New Approaches for you Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

There has been some discussions with Tabcorp in regards to your Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. As you all know, the issue of the Better off Overall Test has been the sticking point in the negotiations.

USU Members have asked us they have had to wait so long for a new enterprise agreement? Well, we’re asking ourselves the same question.

Tabcorp has had further meetings with members about using the General Retail Award rather than the Clerks Private Sector Award for the Better Off Overall Test (BOOT) against your EBA.

On Tuesday 19 December 2017 the USU proudly presented Tabcorp with the USU petition calling on the company to use the Clerks, Private Sector Award 2010 in the BOOT for your EBA
