Ausgrid employees have voted to accept the current offer in relation to the 2018 Enterprise Agreement.

Over 88% of eligible employees voted with over 73% voting YES.

This means you will shortly receive the $1600 payment and a 2.75% pay increase – THE FIRST IN 4 YEARS.

Other changes will not come into place until the Agreement is formally registered by the Fair Work Commission.

USU officials and delegates have worked hard to secure the best deal for USU members but we could only do that with your continued support –

SO IT’S A BIG THANK YOU to members for “sticking solid” through this trying time.

We also want to express our thanks to your hard working USU delegates:

Kayla Miller    Lisa Turner    Pam Christy    Mathew Woods
Candice Rhind    Thao Tran    Emily Callachor    Joe Agius
Andrew Stenning    Craig Murphy    Nick Speranza

We won’t be resting on our laurels though.

There is still lots of work to do to get the Career Capability & Remuneration (CCR) proposal finalised before its proposed introduction from December 31, 2018.

Later on we will be asking for your views, suggestions and ideas on how to ensure the CCR works for USU members.

Please Note: Due to the successful ballot the USU has advised Ausgrid and the Fair Work Commission that we terminate our application to undertake Protected Industrial Action.
