Your bargaining representatives met with management on Monday 28th August 2017.
At the meeting your representatives made it clear to management that after listening to our members following the successful NO Vote of management’s proposed Agreement, that the United Services Union would be seeking:
- 2.5% wage increase
- Unlocking of the sustenance ATO rate
- The issue with IEA’s (Individual Employment Agreements) to be resolved.
On the matter of IEA’s the United Services Union supports Professional Australia’s claim that IEA’s should be:
- Voluntary
- Have a reversion clause meaning that if employees choose they can revert back to the Agreement conditions.
Future bargaining meetings are planned to be held fortnightly.
