Last week we gave an account of activities to date regarding a 20kg lift limit imposed on employees. We hoped to have had a response from Armaguard already however none has been forthcoming so we have written to Armaguard.

For the last few months United Services Union (USU) Official Emily Callachor and USU Delegates Sharon Lindsay and Darren Gulliver have been looking into a safety concern around the maximum lift limit, which currently sits at 20 kilograms (kgs).

The Enterprise Agreement will be going to vote on Thursday 26 April 2018. By now all members should have accessed a copy of the draft agreement, which was available in individual workplaces.

Organisers and Delegates from the USU and the TWU met with Linfox Armaguard on Tuesday 20 February to negotiate a fair and reasonable outcome for members.
