Our amazing USU lifeguard members at Sutherland Shire Council took on their equally amazing Randwick City Council and Waverley Council (Bondi) rivals in a 30km ‘Lifeguard Challenge’ on Sunday 17 March!
The day was wet and cold but nothing was going to stop these champions from completing the Challenge and raising money for the Sydney Children’s Hospital!
The USU was proud to be involved in this fantastic event to help raise money for a very worthy cause.
The challenge went from Bondi Beach to Cronulla Beach and included boarding, running and swimming. The Lifeguard Challenge was held to raise money for a piece of ‘lifesaving’ equipment for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
Check out some photos of the day!
