Yesterday (24/3), the combined unions participated in a phone hook-up regarding Ausgrid’s latest responses to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Increased support for workers who lose their jobs or are stood down, on low incomes, or in casual and contract employment.
Supermarket staff, like many USU members are providing an essential service to all Australians during this unprecedented situation. As part of their campaign to eliminate violence and abuse from customers, their union, the SDA has produced an ad which we want to help share as far and wide as possible.
In areas that do have work, wherever and whenever this occurs, it will be turned over on a fortnightly basis. This is to speed up the turnaround time for spreading and sharing any of the limited work opportunities that do remain.
