Your Union is happy to advise that the overwhelming majority of eligible employees at Ausgrid voted to accept Ausgrid’s EA offer, with 84% of you voting in favour of it.
This is a terrific outcome after 13 months of a hard negotiation. Your first pay increase of 2.5% will be paid once the FWC has certified the Agreement, which may or may not occur prior to Christmas as December is traditionally the busiest month of the year for them.
It is intended that Ausgrid will lodge the Agreement and all relevant paperwork with the FWC by this Thursday, 25 November. The timetable for next steps is as follows:
