The Richmond Tweed Regional Library Support Services has temporarily closed its building due to the discovery of mould contamination in the roof.

In response to this situation, arrangements have been made for members to work from safe offices located throughout Lismore.

This ensures that they can continue providing the community with a high level of service, despite the challenges posed by the closure. The team is committed to maintaining its operations and supporting the community’s needs during this time.

The local USU Organiser Nicole Eldridge visited the members at the Magellan Street office, where they delved into the intricate layout and thoughtful setup of the workspace. The visit was truly inspiring, as it offered a firsthand look at the remarkable resilience demonstrated by the Richmond Tweed Regional Library members. Despite the challenges presented by the 2022 floods, they have shown an incredible ability to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
