This week Virgin wrote to employees with details of the “profit share” payment it will be paying. It’s not a coincidence they are doing this at the same time that they are trying to ram through their dodgy agreement that cuts your pay and conditions.
Clearly Virgin is making a profit – they can afford to pay you fairly after years of standdowns and wage freezes. This once off payment (that will be heavily taxed) is just a bribe to try to convince you to vote for their proposed agreement that will see your wages and conditions be cut forever.
Vote no to:
- cutting your sick leave
- cutting your DILs
- below inflation wage increases
- full timers working more hours for no extra pay
