Virgin employees will shortly be contacted by Deloitte and asked to vote to approve the proposed Committee of Inspection. This is the committee that will oversee the administration, and work with the administrator to determine the future of Virgin Australia.
Because of the incredible work of USU/ASU members in submitting hundreds of proxies and demonstrating that we are a strong united voice, the USU/ASU has been proposed by Deloitte to be on the important Committee of Inspection that will oversee the administration.
We are asking members to VOTE YES to approve the proposed Committee of Inspection. This will make sure that you are represented on the committee, and we can continue to work together, share information, and put forward your views to have the best chance to Keep Virgin Flying!
You will have until 5pm AEST next Tuesday 12 May to submit your vote. Please VOTE YES, and tell your colleagues to VOTE YES too.
