Following our exciting ballot held in 2023 we will be celebrating Metro Union Picnic Day at Taronga Zoo on Friday the 8th of March 2024.
The Union puts the call out to all our members to encourage others to join our Union and gain access to this fantastic day which is only for Union members.

Under the NSW Local Government (State) Award all financial Local Government metro members of the USU are entitled to Union Picnic Day off work with pay. Other metro members may receive a paid day off or make up day if they normally work that day. On top of that, USU members and their families can attend Taronga Zoo on the day for FREE!
Whether you are entitled to a paid day off depends on your Award or Agreement. If in doubt talk to your USU Organiser or contact the union on 1300 136 604.
It is such a great day and we do not want anyone to miss out!
