An early morning meeting of USU members took place in Casino, where outdoor USU members gathered to nominate and elect a new USU delegate.

The enthusiastic members converged, eager to engage with their local USU Organiser Nicole Eldridge and discuss important matters, thanks to the regular Union meetings that have strengthened their camaraderie.

USU member Lisa Grice was decisively elected as the new USU outdoor delegate.

Her strong commitment to Lisa Grice the workplace and clear vision for her role as a USU delegate resonated with her fellow USU members, who expressed their excitement and unwavering support for her nomination.

Say no to bullying

During the meeting, the USU Organiser  emphasised that the USU would not tolerate any form of bullying in the workplace, highlighting the importance of fostering a respectful environment for all employees.

They also discussed the current position descriptions and possible restructuring in the workplace, aiming to clarify roles and responsibilities.

Additionally, the USU Organiser outlined the various services and support available to members through the USU, showcasing the USU’s commitment to its members.
