The USU has called for State and Federal Parliamentary Inquiries into the work health and safety effects of Glyphosate based products like Roundup.
The NSW Opposition has confirmed to us that they support this request. This is a significant step and we want to thank the NSW Opposition and in particular Shadow Local Government Minister Greg Warren for his support
We await a response from the NSW Government and from the Federal Government and Opposition.
The USU has also requested a meeting with the NSW Environment Protection Authority to discuss Glyphosate based products and we are waiting for a response to this request.
