For nearly two years, the Metropolitan team has been dedicated to achieving better recognition for our early childhood education members. Each week, the team spends a full day visiting centres across the metropolitan area.
In May 2024, the team held 24 meetings, and 19 of these meetings voted unanimously to endorse the draft Award. Following this strong support, your Union approached Local Government NSW to begin negotiations to ensure the hard work, experience, and knowledge of our members are properly recognised.
