Meet the USU members keeping Raby Oval in top shape and winning awards while they’re at it.
The USU is proud to recognise the hard work of our members Jeff Roberts, Matthew Turner and Kurt Turner, who look after Raby Oval as part of their work with Campbelltown City Council.

Their commitment and craftsmanship were recently honoured at the Cricket NSW Premier Cricket Awards, where Raby Oval was named Ground of the Year for 2024.
Keeping a sports ground in top shape takes skill, pride and attention to detail.
It’s the second year in a row the oval has finished in the top three for the award, showing just how consistent and dedicated this crew is.
Just as importantly, Jeff, Matthew and Kurt also support and train apprentices, helping to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of council workers.
Congratulations team! You’ve done your council, community and union proud.
