Virgin contacted the USU/ASU last week about Guest Services staff shortages. The Company did not anticipate reaching the number of hours of work that they currently have to cover until late 2021. For now this is an issue that affects work in MEL, ADL & BNE but it could expand to other ports in January 2021.

We met with the Company on Monday, 21 December 2020 to hear about some options to ensure that Guest Services work can be covered by Virgin employees. We are waiting on a he detailed proposal from Virgin.
