The Union is seeking to employ an Organiser to work in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for a period of 6 months, beginning in March, 2025. The position is based in the Union’s Head Office at Level 7, 321 Pitt Street, Sydney.

The position will work specifically in the Early Childhood Education and Care centres run by local governments in NSW. The majority of work will be conducted in the Sydney metropolitan area but period of travel to regional NSW may be required.

The position will include developing and implementing organising plans, cultivating and supporting workplace delegates and activists, and increasing membership and activism by direct recruiting and member contact. The organiser will also support members through industrial representation and workplace bargaining.

Salary will be $103,732.81 annually (pro rata for term of employment), paid weekly, plus 12% superannuation.
