Tweed Shire Council incorporated the USU Escabag Campaign with the Community Wellbeing team and was delighted to champion the campaign to all employees.
The USU Escabag campaign complemented other domestic violence initiatives that the Tweed Shire Council promotes and participates in, such as the Together We Say No to Domestic Violence campaign.
As part of this campaign, front-facing staff, the Executive Leadership Team, and Councillors wear purple shirts every Friday across key months such as Domestic Violence Prevention Month and the 16 Days of Activism. Above Joseph Disney, Shane Davidson, and Erika Chadburn get ready to pack up the contribution from members.
