On the 14th May 2024 both indoor and outdoor members met and passed motions that supported bans from the 8th May 2024.
This matter was in the NSW Industrial Relations Commission. The following orders were given:
- That members must cease industrial action by 9.30 am on the 15th May 2024. This includes bans from the 8th May 20254 and the motions passed on the 14th May 2024.
- The USU and members must refrain from authorising, organising, supporting, encouraging or inciting industrial action.
These orders remain in place until 4pm on 21 May 2024.
In conjunction with this a meeting in the IRC will occur at 9am on the 21st May 2024 and this meeting will include the Mayor of Liverpool.
In light of this we encourage indoor members to work in their normal place of work tomorrow whether it is at home or in the office.
