There is an important meeting for all USU/ASU members who work in airlines this Wednesday 10 February at 7pm AEDT – register here now.

COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on USU/ASU members who work for airlines or in ground handling. It is clear that aviation workers are going to need financial support past March and a long-term plan from the Federal Government to reach a COVID-normal in aviation.

So this Wednesday at 7pm AEDT we are holding an urgent meeting for all USU/ASU members who work in the aviation industry to discuss our plan to extend JobKeeper, protect your jobs for the long term and Keep Australia Flying.

Join our urgent mass airlines member meeting this Wednesday Feb 10 at 7pm AEDT.

The Morrison Government is planning its next steps for the economic recovery right now. The Senate Inquiry into the future of our aviation sector is on right now. At this meeting we will discuss what all of this means for you and update you on what is happening with JobKeeper and AviationKeeper.

What: USU/ASU Airlines Member Meeting

When: Wednesday 10th February

NSW: 7pm-8pm

How: To join us on Zoom RSVP here

Your union has been an integral part of the recovery process, working with the industry to support workers and rebuild the industry, while the Government has been absent. But we can’t wait any longer – we are going to need additional Government support for all airlines workers to get through this recovery.

And it’s only if we all stick together that we will be able to win the support we need to protect thousands of jobs and livelihoods across the industry.

Will you be at next week’s meeting? RSVP here now.

Join us on Wednesday because together we need to protect aviation jobs, wages and conditions so that when Australia is ready to fly airlines workers are too.
