On the 27th of June 2024, the Fair Work Commission approved the Norfolk Island Regional Council Enterprise Agreement 2023.
“It was a long negotiation, but we finally got there, 4.5% each year for 3 years, no trade-offs, I think that’s a great outcome,” said Alan Anderson.
Gratitude goes to your USU delegates, Malcome Snell and Alan Anderson, who participated in the negotiations that resulted in a 4.5% pay increase per year for the next 3 years. The Lighterage Payment Rate and allowances have also increased 4.5%.
This was achieved without any compromise on existing conditions.
