Car sales April 2026

As cars are removed from the United Services Union’s fleet, we’re now offering them for sale exclusively to our members, delegates, and staff before they go to auction. We’re currently selling 8 cars from the union’s fleet.

The process is simple: Cars for sale will be listed on our website for an Expression of Interest period. During that time, we accept expressions of interest for purchasing the cars at the listed price. Should multiple people submit EOIs, a random draw will be conducted to determine order of rights to purchase. We sell at a fixed price, so don’t worry about getting outbid at the last minute.

Expressions of Interest close 12 April 2026 at 5pm.

The draw will be completed on 13 April 2026.

If you’re successful in your expression of interest, you’ll have 1 week to finalise purchase of the vehicle after close of the sale period. All vehicles are registered through to 1/11/26 and will require a pink slip for renewal.

Please note vehicles may have damage and wear and tear commensurate with the age of vehicles – please check notes relating to each vehicle.

When making inquiries or lodging an expression of interest, you must note the rego number of the vehicle(s). If you’d like to place expressions of interest on multiple vehicles, list your order of preference when submitting the EOI. If you do not provide an order of preference and you are successful on one draw, you will be eliminated from additional draws.

Vehicles are available for inspection at our Union Offices in Rutherford. An appointment must be made to view any vehicle by emailing kgale@usu.org.au.   

Cars may be test driven by fully licenced drivers who provide their licence details and sign the Union’s indemnity form.

All vehicles have a comprehensive service history. The cars are limited to one purchase per member.
