Your Union delegates have successfully negotiated a 2% pay increase for 2021. In light of the difficult climate for negotiations in 2020, rather than enter into prolonged negotiations for a new EA, the Union sought a 12 month roll over your Enterprise Agreement with a fair pay increase.
You will recall from previous communications that Management had initially indicated they were only prepared to offer a 0% wage increase.
Through strong representation and evidence based debate your Union representatives were successful in obtaining a 2% offer that was accepted by you with 90% support.
It is times like these that we are reminded that when we stand together as Union members we can affect real positive change to pay and working conditions.
We need you in 2021!
But the hard work isn’t over just yet. During 2021, we will be renegotiating your pay and conditions for the next 3 years. We need as many members as possible, the more members we have, the more bargaining power we have.
