Negotiating a 12 month Award rollover at Broken Hill City Council means wage growth for our members & gives the USU time to work with council to develop a new, fairer salary system.

By negotiating a 12 month rollover, your union has made sure members are not disadvantaged and the development of their salary system is given the time it deserves.
The rollover has secured:
- A 4% wage increase from 1 July 2025
- A one-off bonus of $1500

Developing a new salary system takes time and we want to get it right. We also know that the cost of living is hitting our members hard and delaying a payrise would disadvantage our members.
