What you’ll bring…

  • Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Science, or related work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud-based environments supporting a dispersed workforce
  • Experience managing diverse hardware (phones, tablets, laptop, etc)
  • Experience supporting both Mac and Window O/S (i.e. Microsoft 365 and other cloud-based software)
  • Experience in supporting users through system change, promoting the adoption of new technologies
  • Experience in identifying and implementing technical and process innovation to support and improve
  • Service delivery
  • Experience with InTune including AutoPilot and White Glove
  • Experience with MFA
  • Proven ability to provide direction, develop capability and lead people in a help desk environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff 

Extra points for…

  • Experience with Dell servers, switching, workstations and storage
  • Experience with online payment gateways such as Stripe, EFT & BPay procedures
  • Experience with Mimecast
  • Experience with EDR or AntiVirus software
  • Previous experience working in membership, advocacy, labour, political or non-profit sectors
  • Knowledge of the Union and its political and social impacts

What you’ll be doing..

  • Install, maintain, and repair the physical networking infrastructure in the Union’s offices throughout NSW (Travel required)
  • Acquire, configure, deploy, and maintain end user devices across the organisation
  • Provide technical and operational training and support to end users
  • Develop and maintain technical manuals, training guides and user documentation
  • Develop and maintain account relationships with various vendors and suppliers
  • Lead a small, dedicated IT Team to support a dispersed workforce across NSW
